Start the sightseeing by visiting the largest palace complex of Rajasthan-
City Palace Udaipur and
its nearby attraction Jagdish Mandir of Lords Vishnu.
Visiting the palace would take an hour or more as it consists of numerous
constituent parts
such as Amar Vilas, Badi Mahal, Bhim Vilas, Fateh
Prakash Palace, and
many more with each showcasing some of the finest works like fine artworks,
gardens (elevated), paintings, galleries- the famous one being crystal gallery.
Attent a cultural program at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Museum displaying
the culture of
Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh in terms of folk dance, art, and shows
like Puppet Show.
Head towards the famous food center and picnic spot of this mewar city-
Sukhadia Circle- enjoy your time
in exploring the entertainment and food zones, you can have lunch here and after
that we'll resume our sightseeing.
For the cultural program, you can either attend here (afternoon and evening) or at Bagore ki Haveli (evening only).
There are some major tourist attractions near to Sukhadia Circle like
Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Museum,
Maharana Pratap Memorial, Sahelion Ki bari (Garden Of Maidens),
and Fateh Sagar Lake.
Visit the hilltop Mahana Pratap Memorial which is situated on Moti Mangri
Hill, Saheliyon Ki Bari-
also known as "Garden of Maidens", a beautiful garden-cum-tourist attraction
consisting of fountains,a lotus pool,
statues, and the nature-loving surroundings.
As it's located near Fateh Sagar Lake (on its banks) so after visiting the
garden you can also visit
the Fateh Sagar Lake.
You can have a boat ride either on Lake Pichola or on Fateh Sagar Lake, both are the two prominent (large) lakes of Udaipur. While Lake Pichola's boat riding gives you nice surrounding views of Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, City Palace, and it's adjacent palaces but at the same time it's costlier as compared to the latter one.
Visit Bagore Ki Haveli- this ancient haveli is composed of numerous
sections and some of them are
the main haveli, the weapon museum, the puppet museum, and
many more
with each showcasing unique works.
This marks the end of our Udaipur full day sightseeing, our chauffeur will
drop you at your preferred departure location for your
onward journey.
If you can arrive in Udaipur by 08:00 AM then we can start the full day sightseeing as per the above itinerary/sightseeing and the above sightseeing can be easily covered by 05:30 PM
It'll take one day to cover the prime attractions of Udaipur i.e City Palace, Jagdish Mandir, Saheliyon Ki Badi (Garden Of Maidens), Maharana Pratap Memorial, Lake Pichola, and Bagore Ki Haveli Museum. To cover the side-attractions as well like Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, Vintage Car Museum, Jag Mandir, Karni Mata Ropeway, and Shikar Badi, you'll need to extend your tour to one more day i.e a 02 Days/ 01 Night tour in order to cover all the attractions of Udaipur.
Udaipur comes in Rajasthan and Rajasthan is best visited in winters (October to March) due to the pleasant cold weather unlike hot days of May/June. Udaipur is surrounded by Aravalli Hills and is the lake city so you can also visit it during Monsoon too i.e July-August.
